The Environment and Why we need to fix it

The environment is our home, it has fed us, clothed us, nurtured us and has shaped our entire civilization. We rely on our environment for so many activities such as education, business, our economy and pleasure. But look what is happening to our world. We are not respecting the cycle of nature. We are logging forests and killing trees with no regret. In one Science-Geo class, I remember learning about sustainability. This means using our resources wisely so other generations will have the same. However, we have to take drastic measures. We must defy government decisions of allowing logging of forests, plant trees wherever you can. We must fix this before all the polar ice caps melt, or we run out of trees, before the end of life!
